This most prized and infamous mushroom, with rich umami flavors, the Porcini mushroom, has now made an appearance on our menu. Porcini literally means “Little Piggies” due to its short and plump shape. Hunters must hike in the hard-to-reach valleys, hills and mountains to find these wild mushrooms. They are usually grouped up under a tree soaking up the tree’s nutrients, while thriving in damp weather.
We sauté the porcini in garlic, white wine and butter then mix with risotto. We then serve with our grilled Angus skirt steak and balsamic glaze. Come try today!
