We take take pride in our local vendors and have carefully sourced them for our menu. Check them out below.
Kenter Canyon Farms
Kenter Canyon put the “Mixed Greens” revolution on the map in the 80’s when they served their famous Mesclun to Chez Panisse in Berkeley. “Mesclun” in French means mix and was named for this special blend of young leaves of arugula, lettuce, dandelion, frisee and chervil. Kenter Canyon is right outside of Los Angeles in Sun Valley and have kept their growing roots strong for many years. We feature their lettuce on our Pear and Gorgonzola Salad, Salmon Salad and Garden Salad.
Di Stefano Burrata
A family owned cheese company in Southern California that has a lifetime of experience, tradition and passion for making cheese.
The owner and founder of Di Stefano Cheese, Mimmo Bruno introduced burrata to the North American palate in 1993. Their cheese plant is dedicated to making fresh burrata, mozzarella, mascarpone, ricotta, Samorza and Caciocavallo. They use modern equipment with traditional techniques to create the most rich and creamy burrata. Try their burrata on our Spicy Pork Rigatoni as well as our Burrata and Fried Eggplant Pizza!
Little Brother’s Bakery
Owned and operated by our Uncle and Cousins (Giuliano’s), this bakery in Gardena produces some of the best breads you’ll find. They combine the best ingredients with age old processes to create breads that grace our menu. Their breads are crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. Perfect pair for our sandwiches and table breads. Along with a famous Torpedo sub, you can also purchase these breads at Giuliano’s Gardena.
Spumoni
Our famous spumoni ice cream comes from Brother’s Desserts in Orange County. This second generational company was founded in 1973 by two brothers from Brooklyn. They since created a number of ice cream variations serving Southern California. Their spumoni is a blend of strawberry ice cream, pistachio, maraschino cherryies, chocolate and nuts. It’s a perfect treat after an Italian meal.
Alta Cucina Tomatoes
The Cortopassi family has perfected the canning of fresh Roma tomatoes. Up in Northern California, the Stanislaus Tomato company cultivates some of the most juicy, plump tomatoes, then cans them for future use. Our marinara sauce is made with these flavorful but not overpowering tomatoes.
Perricone Farms
This Southern California citrus company has been producing fresh juices and lemonades since the 1930’s. Their fresh squeezed lemonade, made from fresh local lemons, is a product of three generations of Perricone’s producing some of the best squeezed citrus drinks.
Test out our ingredients the next time you order food, we promise they are the best of the best!
